Alessi Collection

Italian manufacturer Alessi seen worldwide in hotels and also in
private kitchens

Worldwide there are many hotels, bars, restaurants and private
kitchens that can boast of a special and helpful partner achieved with
the use of items developed and manufacturer by Italian home ware
giants Alessi.

Always in good form and ready for immediate use, the Alessi collection
has simplified the life of many restaurant owners and home owners
wishing to offer impeccable service.

The Alessi collection was introduced at the turn of the 20th century
and has continued with an unchanged enthusiasm every since.
International and local Italian designers have used their creativity
with Alessi, developing pieces aimed particularly at the needs and
requirements of their refined and demanding clientele.

One of Alessi’ best and most popular items over the years has been the
Alessi kettle. The most popular being the Michael Graves bird kettle
with its adorable bird sitting elegantly in the sprout, when the water
boils the kettle magically turns into a whistling kettle. Developed
and manufactured in the early part of the 21st century initially the
kettle was released in two colours, ivory and blue but more recently
to coincide with the release of their black and white collection
Alessi have announced a new colour, a black kettle from this Michael
Graves bird range.

Due to the popularity of Alessi coffee making pieces there is always a
media excitement when a new range is announced. This was recently
seen when Finnish artist and designer Kristina Lassus designed a new
stainless steel coffee and tea service called ‘401’ All the
important characteristics for best functionality of the kettle were
achieved including the non drip spout, an ergonomic handle, a lid
which fits inside the neck preventing condensation dripping down the
outside onto the tablecloth. All these features making a truly
professional product and without doubt achieving the same longevity as
some of the other Alessi kettles.
